Structure of the system

To protect the REF systems and data we have structured the REF Hub and applications in the following way: 

• Material can only be accessed when you are online
• Material can't be downloaded or printed

The yellow banner, that appears across the top of most screens in the REF Hub, confirms the above. 

If you need to be able to print and download documents as part of a reasonable adjustment for accessibility reasons under the Equality Act 2010, please get in touch with admin@ref.ac.uk. 

To protect all REF data, the REF email system has been structured in the following way:

• You can only email other panel members and members of the REF team using the addresses below
• You can't email anything to your REF email address from another email address
• You can't forward an email to an external email address
  • The exceptions to this are listed below
  • You can forward  meeting invitations from the REF Delivery Team or panel advisors to your own organisation email account so that the meeting details appear in your own calendar.
