Creating your Freshdesk portal account

To submit your non-HESA Volume Measure data, you will need to create an account on our Freshdesk portal.

In your inbox, you will have an email from info@ref.ac.uk titled REF 2029 user activation If you cannot find this email, please check your spam, junk and/or quarantine folders Open this email
Click the link in the email
In the page that opens, your name should autofill in the Full name field, feel free to change it if you like. In the password fields below, please enter, and re-enter a password (NCSC guidance on secure passwords) Next, click Activate and Log In
You will be redirected to the REF Freshdesk portal, and your initials will appear in the top right-hand corner to confirm you are signed in Please follow this guide to submit your institution's non-HESA Volume Measure data
