How can I access Microsoft Forms and what can I use it for?

Modified on Wed, 29 Oct at 3:24 PM

Microsoft Forms is an application you can use to create forms or surveys. For example, you could use it to send out a request for feedback from other panel members. By using Forms all the replies are saved in one place so it's easier to collate and review the responses, (rather than having to copy and paste responses from emails).

Microsoft have guidance on how to use Forms but please contact us at usersupport@ref.ac.uk if you have any questions about how to use it.

To access Forms:

  • Sign in to the REF Hub
  • Click on the 9 dots in the top left-hand corner of the screen
  • Click on Forms (if you can't see the Forms icon then click on More apps)

  • If you can't see the Forms icon, click in the Find box at the top and type in 'forms'
  • Click on the Forms icon
  • A new tab will open with the Forms app in it
